Co-directors Susie Little and Jo Simpson share a lifelong passion for horses combined with a wealth of business experience. Susie’s previous experience encompasses a Psychology degree, a career in public relations and a keen interest in addiction. She has a PTLLS (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector) qualification. Jo’s interest in developing people was instigated through her management of teams during a career of 19 years in International Banking. She is a qualified coach and co-facilitates a programme developed by Family Services through the charity Action on Addiction to move parents and children closer together.
Equine training and behaviour consultant, Debbie Reilly from Understanding Equus, also joined the team in 2015. A former nurse and child-care worker, with a keen interest in learning and attachment theories, Debbie brings nearly two decades of experience of helping horses and people to build better relationships, through understanding and communication.
Established in November 2012 as a social enterprise with charitable aims, Tower House Horses CIC is an Equine Assisted Qualifications (EAQ) Approved Centre All EAQ certified facilitators are DBS checked, and trained to a high level in horse handling skills.
